U21s Preview: Leeds United vs Stoke City

Premier League 2 action on Friday night.

Leeds United Under-21s are taking on Stoke City Under-21s on Friday evening, at the LNER Community Stadium in York.

The latest Premier League 2 clash for Michael Skubala’s side gets underway at 7pm, with the Whites looking to bounce back from defeat last time out against West Ham United Under-21s at Elland Road.

Prior to Friday’s loss against the Hammers, Leeds had began the season in a strong fashion, with wins away from home against Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as Manchester United at Old Trafford.

In this early stage of the campaign, Skubala’s side currently occupy eighth spot in the 26 team league standings.

Visitors Stoke City come to York also looking to return to winning ways after a tough day last time out. Having lost their opening match to Reading, they did claim a first three points with a hard-fought win over Wolves.

However, Alex Morris saw his young team suffer a tough outing at the Leigh Sports Village against Manchester United, losing 10-1.

Tickets remain on sale for all supporters wishing to attend the match. For those without tickets up to now and wishing to purchase, you can do so on the link below!
