Leeds United Supporter Advisory Board

Leeds United Fans Scarves

Leeds United’s Supporter Advisory Board (SAB) is a diverse and inclusive forum that brings together fan group representatives, members, and senior club officials to constructively discuss issues important to supporters.

Launched in 2017 and refreshed for the period 2025-2027, Leeds United's Supporter Advisory Board (SAB) provides a forum for fan group representatives and members from different sections of our fanbase to come together with senior club representatives to constructively discuss issues that are important to supporters. It also provides the club with a platform to discuss new ideas with supporters, seek their feedback on new initiatives, and give fans the opportunity to present ideas and suggestions directly to the club.

The SAB meets aims to meet every six weeks. Leeds United and SAB members can table agenda items throughout the football season, ensuring that both the club and supporter representatives can address new topics as they arise.

The remit of the SAB covers non-playing matters such as the club’s strategic vision, objectives, off-pitch performance updates, priorities, and plans. It also includes operational matchday issues, proposals relating to significant changes to club heritage assets, and stadium matters and plans.

In addition, the SAB discusses the club’s community strategy, its equality, diversity and inclusion commitments, and its approach to broader supporter engagement.

The SAB is currently Chaired by experienced independent Chair Jane Dowson, with an elected Deputy Chair from the SAB's supporter membership, which is currently Katie Watkin. The SAB consists of 13 members, including representatives of established supporters' groups and independent supporters, and is inclusive and reflective of the club's diverse fanbase. Groups represented include:

  • Leeds United Supporters Club

  • Leeds United Supporters’ Trust

  • Leeds United Supporters Network

  • Marching Out Together

  • Leeds United Supporters Club of Scandinavia LUSCOS (representing international supporters)

  • Leeds United Disabled Advisory Group

The club is represented at SAB meetings by Leeds United Managing Director Robbie Evans, Head of Communications Jordan Owens and Supporter Laison Officer Mark Pitts. Alongside this there is regular attendance from the club's senior management team, including staff from ticketing and supporter engagement, as well as ad hoc attendance from other departments as required, such as hospitality, catering, facilities management, matchday operations, IT, marketing, retail, and the Leeds United Foundation.

The SAB also co-opts attendees such as the police, local authority planning officers, transport specialists, and merchandisers, depending on the agenda. The attendance of such varied stakeholders ensures that agendas remain current, vibrant, and responsive to the issues that members and their groups wish to discuss. It provides supporters with the opportunity to influence new initiatives introduced at the club, as well as to review and develop existing initiatives and raise issues they want to address.
