SAB Profile: Rachael Grimes

I originally came to Leeds to study at the university which was when I first had the opportunity to visit Elland Road and started going more regularly a few years later. I now have a season ticket with my family, sitting in the lower east stand, which I was fortunate to get through the season ticket waiting list. I am a member of the Griffin Supporters Club and attend as many away games as I can too.

I have also taken part in many of the great initiatives that have been offered by the Leeds United Foundation over the past few years and support the fantastic work that they do in the community. I have met many great people through the club, and it really does feel like a family.

I joined the Supporter Advisory Board because I wanted to give something back, be a voice for the fans and ensure that we are listened to. I am passionate about matchday being an inclusive environment that we all can enjoy and ensuring that the Elland Road experience is accessible to all. These are exciting times with us being back in the Premier League and with the stadium expansion pending, but at the same time want to ensure that we retain our famous atmosphere and that us fans continue to be heard as this progresses. We really do have the best fans!
