THIRD ROUND: DERBY COUNTY 1-3 LEEDS UNITED
Leeds United showed character and quality to claim a 3-1 comeback win over Derby County at Pride Park and progress in the FA Cup. Despite controlling much of the first half, the Whites went into the break behind after a goal from Ben Brereton Díaz, but their performance always suggested a response was coming.
That turnaround arrived quickly after half-time, with Willy Gnonto equalising before Ao Tanaka put Leeds ahead moments later. Leeds then controlled the game with confidence, sealing the win in stoppage time through James Justin to cap a strong, composed display.
FOURTH ROUND: BIRMINGHAM 1-1 (P) LEEDS UNITED
Daniel Farke’s side produced another composed cup performance, progressing with a 4-2 penalty shootout win over Birmingham City after a 1-1 draw at St Andrew’s. Leeds stayed patient in a tight contest before taking control early in the second half through Lukas Nmecha, reflecting their growing influence on the game.
Although Birmingham equalised late on through Patrick Roberts to force extra time, Leeds remained composed and ultimately held their nerve in the shootout. With key contributions at both ends and a confident display from the spot, Leeds secured their place in the next round, underlining their character and ability to deliver in high-pressure moments.
FIFTH ROUND: LEEDS UNITED 3-0 NORWICH CITY
Leeds United delivered a dominant performance at Elland Road to secure a 3-0 win over Norwich City and book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals. The Whites took control in the first half, with Sean Longstaff opening the scoring and Gabriel Gudmundsson adding a second ahead of the break.
Leeds continued to manage the game with confidence after the interval, limiting Norwich’s threat and maintaining control throughout. Joël Piroe wrapped up the victory late on with a well-taken third, capping a composed and professional display that highlighted Leeds’ quality and momentum in the competition.
QUARTER FINAL: WEST HAM 2-2 (P) LEEDS UNITED
The Whites booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals with a dramatic 4-2 penalty shootout win over West Ham United after a 2-2 draw in London. They looked in control for much of the contest, taking a deserved lead through Ao Tanaka before Dominic Calvert-Lewin doubled the advantage from the spot.
West Ham responded late on to force extra time, but Leeds stayed calm under pressure and delivered when it mattered. Lucas Perri made crucial saves in the shootout, and Pascal Struijk converted the winning penalty to seal a memorable victory and continue an impressive cup run.
