United striker Mirco Antenucci has been named in the Football League Team of the Week following his match-winning brace in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers.

The Italian, who took his tally to seven for the season with well-taken goals either side of half-time, was also named in the Football League Paper's Championship Team of the Week.

Antenucci opened the scoring after 39 minutes, smartly flicking the ball beyond Paul Rachubka from six yards out after Mustapha Carayol's corner was headed into his path by Liam Cooper.

The striker, last season's top goalscorer, then added his second of the afternoon shortly after the hour mark with an unstoppable curling effort from inside the area after his initial low cross was returned into his path.
