Premier League Inspires Programme

The Leeds United Foundation want to continue to inspire young people to have the skills and attitudes to succeed in life and we believe this unique, tailored programme can deliver this for your students.

Premier League Inspires Programme

Our programme vision is:

  • To use the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to support 11-18-year-olds who are marginalized or at risk of not reaching their potential; supporting them as they move through the education system and early adulthood.

With a mission statement to:

  • To inspire children and young people to develop the personal skills and positive attitudes to succeed in life.

Impact / Outcome

The programme offer is for 1 full academic year, with all year groups (cohorts) being targeted throughout this time.  We would provide a member of the team to attend your school for 1 full day to deliver intervention and for a targeted number of children (no more than 12 in each group), although we can have multiple groups in each year group.

  • Year 7 & 8  –  Transition, behaviour and wellbeing
  • Year 9 & 10  -  Generic skill and SATS interventions
  • Year 11 +  -  Life skills, career and employment skills

This programme is very much based on the needs of the school and can be tailored for you as an individual school.  Within this programme we can support pupils on a 1:1 basis throughout the programme.
