After two quickfire goals in the second half, Leeds United Women were held to a 1-1 draw with Doncaster Rovers Belles in the FA WNL Division One North.
Drew Greene had put the Whites firmly in the driving seat, but after the hosts equalised through a free kick moments after, Leeds had to settle for a point.
Speaking to LUTV after the game, captain Shauna Legge reflected on Wednesday's draw. “A little bit disappointed, we feel like we’ve dropped a couple, but we’ll take the point."
On having the better chances of the game: “Like Blackburn at the weekend, we created chances there, but we need to put more into the back of the net.”
Looking ahead to Saturday’s clash with Harrogate Town Women: “We’ll get that ticked off and then focus again on league action and we just need to keep building.
“There’s plenty of games left to go yet, so anything can happen. We just need to focus on us and keep picking the points up where we can.”
