Leeds United Women return to league action this weekend, with Durham Cestria the visitors to the So-Trak stadium on Sunday afternoon (2pm).

The Whites have extended their unbeaten run to five games with back-to-back cup victories in the last two weeks, advancing in both the League Plate and the FA Cup with wins over Solihull Moors and South Shields.

Durham come into the game in flying form themselves. They are unbeaten in their last seven matches, which includes a 2-1 victory over title favourites Newcastle.

Cestria have lost just once in all competitions so far this season and are third in the table, a win this weekend would see them leapfrog Leeds.

Two of the top teams in the league, both in fine form, it promises to be an enthralling game.

Supporter Information:

The game will take place at Tadcaster Albion’s So-Trak Stadium: Ings Ln, Tadcaster, LS24 9AY. Kick-off 2pm.

For supporters wishing to attend, parking is available at the ground and entry prices are £5 for adults, U16s go free!

Please note, it is cash only. Food and drinks will be available for supporters in the club house.

Players to watch:

Poppy Pritchard is the one to watch for Sunday’s visitors. She is a product of Sunderland’s highly rated Regional Talent Centre that has created the likes of WSL winner Steph Houghton and EURO 2022 winner Jill Scott.

For Leeds, Abbie Brown now leads the scoring charts with five. Brown was on target in last week’s 3-1 win over Solihull Moors along with Olivia Smart and Sarah Danby who are both on three goals for the campaign.
