Leeds United head to the capital as they face Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.
Following a 3-0 victory over Norwich City in the Emirates FA Cup, Daniel Farke will be returning to the dugout as his side aims to take three points back to Yorkshire.
In the reverse fixture, the Whites displayed one of their best performances of the season in a 4-1 win at Elland Road under the lights which saw Anton Stach curl a late free kick past Dean Henderson, as well as a Dominic Calvert-Lewin brace and Ethan Ampadu finish.
Last time out in the Premier League, Leeds fell to defeat at home to Sunderland through a Habib Diarra penalty which followed Joe Rodon’s header being ruled out by VAR.
United’s previous match away from home featured another stunning Stach free kick, this time in a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa, to earn a valuable point on the road.
Crystal Palace are coming into the clash in strong form, with recent wins over Wolves and Tottenham firing Glasner’s side further away from the drop zone.
An Ismaïla Sarr brace and Jørgen Strand Larsen close range finish was enough to defeat Tottenham Hotspur away from home last time out in the Premier League, after coming from 1-0 down in North London.
The Eagles were in European action midweek, held to a goalless draw by Cypriot outfit AEK Larnaca in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League Round of 16 tie.
Over the decades, Leeds have faced Crystal Palace a total of 69 times in all competitions, with the Whites winning 32 and drawing 17 of those matches.
Most memorably in recent years, United snatched a late victory thanks to Brazilian attacker Raphinha’s stoppage time penalty at Elland Road!
Action from Selhurst Park gets underway at 2pm and you can follow it all across leedsunited.com, as well as on LUTV.
