The Leeds United Foundation proudly hosted their first Supporting Our City Awards ceremony on Wednesday evening, recognising individuals and partners who have made an exceptional contribution this year.
Alongside members of staff from the club and the club’s official charity, attendees on the night were also joined by first-team stars Ethan Ampadu and Brenden Aaronson, Leeds United Women’s players Izzy Elliott and Paige Williams and former players Eddie Gray, Tony Dorigo, Noel Whelan and Ben Parker.
The inaugural event was held in the Hisense Leeds Lounge at Elland Road, with six awards being handed to members of our community, whilst appreciation was also shown for those who work incredibly hard throughout the year on behalf of the Foundation to support our participants and local organisations.
The function was sponsored by official club partner Fanatics who recently joined the Foundation as a key strategic partner, reflecting their commitment to supporting community engagement and impact. The generous support from Fanatics for the Supporting Our City Awards was a special way of marking the beginning of a relationship that will be focused on driving positive social change in Leeds and further afield.
