Leeds United Women are back in FA Women’s National League Division One North action tomorrow evening, facing Doncaster Rovers Belles in a Yorkshire Derby.

Off the back of a 5-1 win against FC St Helens Women on Sunday, thanks to standout performances from substitutes Sian Gibrill-Keating and Brittany Sanderson, the Whites make a quick return to action.

Ahead of the game, Leeds midfielder and former-Belle Ellie White said: “We’re all feeling really positive ahead of Wednesday’s game. It’s a good occasion under the lights so we’re all buzzing to get back to league action and hopefully get three points.

“I suppose there's a little bit,” White added on the added grit of facing her former side. “I wasn’t there very long but it’s always nice to play against a rival team.

“It’s a derby as well, so hopefully we can put on a good show in front of our own fans. It should hopefully be a good game, and a good contest.”

On the prospect of tallying seven wins on the bounce: “I don’t think it’s something we think about, but I think we go into every game wanting to win, whether it’s the FA Cup, League Cup or the League.

“A big aim for us this season is to win every game, especially in the league, and to put pressure on the teams at the top. We just need to keep the momentum going from all those cup games back into the league.

“Keep that momentum going and hopefully we get the three points at the end – that’s the main aim.”
