Leeds United Women defender Emily Cassidy says the squad will be "working hard in training to prepare for league action again" as the Whites prepare to travel north east to County Durham.
Facing Durham Cestria in the FA WNL Division One North, Leeds will be looking to build on consecutive victories over York City Ladies and Rotherham United Women in the league and FA Cup respectively.
"We've had a nice break from league action and preparations are going well," the central defender explained.
"I think we expect them to be young and a good, talented footballing side. We had two very difficult games against them last year, so we know it will be difficult.
"A win would be very important as we want to keep the momentum going and start on the front foot. We have been starting games strongly this season, so starting the game well will give us confidence from the off.
"It would be another step towards our goal for the season, and carrying on our winning streak would give us a boost after some tough games recently."
Reflecting on the team's performances this campaign, Cassidy highlighted the strength of the squad and the progress made since last season.
"I think as a team we have been very strong, aggressive and hard-working. We've built on what we wanted to improve from last season and got a style of play now which is working for us.
"We also have a great squad, so the impact from the bench has been massive.
"It would be amazing to get the three points and keep putting pressure on other teams around us."
