Leeds United face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Friday evening, in a Sky Bet Championship clash under the lights.
The Whites will take on the Black Cats in their second away game of the week, having taken a point against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Tuesday.
Ahead of the game, Daniel Farke spoke to the media at Thorp Arch.
“It's always a tricky period, but to be honest I'm also used to it,” the manager stated.
“I've had a few games already in the Championship and I know that this load is sometimes incredible.
“This is really, even by Championship standards, a bit of a special occasion because three games within six days.
“The third game is a bit special and of course you have to adapt a bit.”
Sunderland sit top of the Championship table after eight matches, with a record of six wins and two losses. Regis Le Bris was appointed head coach over the summer and the Whites boss is aware of the challenge his side will face on Friday.
“They've done pretty, pretty well so far,” Farke said, previewing the game.
“In these early stages you have to win as many points as possible and they've won many, many points so far, they’ve also won every home game so far.
"We know that they're in really good shape, they have good players, they are strong on the counter-attack, they are strong in all their offensive positions.
“They have players who can score goals and for that, it’s a really dangerous side and I'm full of respect of their work.
“But, we also know that we are in a good shape and we want to make sure that we are ready to go again on Friday.
“I expect again a tight game against a really good opponent, and we have to be at our best to give ourselves a chance.”
