The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Sunderland on Friday have been announced, with Tim Robinson set to take charge at the Stadium of Light.
A Select Group 1 official, the clash on Wearside will be the first appearance Robinson has made in EFL this term, having featured three times in the Premier League and once in the Carabao Cup.
Last time out, the West Sussex-based referee oversaw Aston Villa’s 3-1 victory over rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers at Villa Park.
The Whites have a mixed record when Robinson has been in the middle, winning seven of the 17 matches and drawing four times.
Robinson’s previous fixture involving the Whites came against the Black Cats in last season’s fixture at Elland Road, which saw Daniel Farke’s side held to a goalless draw.
Sunderland, meanwhile, have also struggled for consistency in their 12 matches officiated by Robinson, winning four, drawing four and losing four.
