Carrie Simpson pre-match

After securing three points at the weekend against Blackburn Rovers Women, Carrie Simpson looks ahead to the midweek clash with Doncaster Rovers Women.

“We want to keep building the momentum, and we’re all feeling pretty positive and looking forward to the game.

“We’re looking to take each game as it comes, keep picking up the points and looking to drive towards the end of the season and get the most points as we can.

“As a group, we’re all excited for the end of the season and the final push and were all aligned to what we want to achieve, so we are looking forward to that.”

On making recently 100 appearances for Leeds: “I’ve been a Leeds fan all my life so it’s a really good feeling to get to 100 appearances. I am definitely proud of that and hopefully there will be plenty more to come.

“I am one of the older and more senior players in the team and seeing how far women’s football has come on its own and Leeds as a club, its brilliant.

“It’s such a great club to be part of and one that I’m definitely proud of.”
