Amy Woodruff joins Leeds United Women

Leeds United Women are pleased to announce the signing of Amy Woodruff, who joins the club from Barnsley Women’s FC.

The striker rejoins the Whites having helped the club lift the FA Women’s National League Plate in 2023, scoring in the final as Leeds beat Stourbridge 3-1.

That season would prove to be a fruitful one for Woodruff, who netted 13 times in all competitions in just 18 starts.

The 25-year-old has also featured for Brighouse Town in her career, as well as representing the West Yorkshire Fire Rescue Service XI.

Amy becomes the fourth new addition to Simon Wood’s team, joining alongside former Halifax trio Shauna Legge, Drew Greene and Ellie White.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to welcome Amy to the club and we look forward to seeing her in action at the Bannister Prentice Stadium.
