The hugely popular Grassroots Ticketing Scheme returns to Elland Road for the 2014/15 season following its successful introduction last year.

Over 14,000 people participated in the Grassroots scheme last season with 183 junior teams, scout groups, and schools from all over the County and further afield with teams from France and Ireland taking part during the season.

The Grassroots Ticketing Scheme allows local football clubs, schools and youth groups the opportunity to take advantage of reduced price match tickets while earning cash back for their club at the same time. In addition, the juniors will also be able to be part of matchday’s here at Elland Road by getting involved in one of our great matchday activities including guard of honour, escorting the players onto the pitch, shake the giant shirt and participate in the half time parade.

The scheme has also attracted investment business MBi to be the headline sponsor of the Grassroots Initiative. MBi has entered into this exciting partnership with the club as they look to show their support for the local community and junior groups across Yorkshire. MBi share the club’s vision of introducing the next generation of fans to enjoy football at Elland Road and, just as importantly, getting them involved in sporting activity.
