Under-18s notch a first league win of the season against Birmingham City...

The Under-18s kicked-off their home league campaign with a 3-1 victory against Birmingham City at the weekend.

Goasl from Eoghan Stokes, Lewis Cook, and Smith Tiesse ensured a first win of the season for Richard Naylor's side.

Stokes and Cook were on target early doors as United took control of the contest, but the visitors clawed their way back into the game and pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time when a free-kick crept inside the near post.

The visitors enjoyed plenty of possession in the second half, but United goalkeeper Dan Atkinson only had one save to make, and the game was sealed when Tiesse got forward well to make it 3-1.

United: Atkinson, Booker, Roper, Bennett, Tiesse, Purver, Cook, Mbanje, lyman (Amiri), Mulhern, Stokes.
