Our Academy sides have confirmed their summer 2016 pre-season schedules.

Our Under-21s will kick-off with a friendly away to Hartlepool United on Tuesday July 12 before facing trips to Bridlington Town and Tadcaster Albion. It’s then over to Corby Town for a weekend double-header in the Steel Park Cup, where a mixture of U21s and U18s will take on the hosts and a PSV Eindhoven XI.

The United youngsters will then travel to local outfit Farsley Celtic, before playing a home friendly against Sunderland and taking on the Nike Academy in preparation for the Professional Development League 2 North campaign getting underway in August.

Our U18s, meanwhile, will start their pre-season schedule against the i2i Academy before facing Nostell Miners, Middlesbrough, Blackburn Rovers and York City.

Please note, unless a kick-off time is stated below, the Under-18s’ pre-season friendlies will be played behind closed doors.

The U21s’ friendlies with Sunderland and the Nike Academy will also be played behind closed doors.
