The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Swansea City on Saturday have been announced, with Ben Toner set to take charge at Elland Road.
Debuting in the English Football League during a 2015 League Two clash between York City and Burton Albion, the Blackburn-based official has progressed through the ranks to take charge of 19 Championship clashes.
Saturday’s encounter with the Swans will mark just the second time Toner has overseen a match at Elland Road.
His only fixture involving the Whites to date was December’s 3-1 victory over Middlesbrough, with goals from Willy Gnonto, Dan James and Brenden Aaronson sealing the three points over the Teesside outfit.
Toner has taken charge of four Swansea fixtures to date, with the Welsh side winning twice, drawing once and losing once.
Most recently, the Swans ran out 3-0 winners over Queens Park Rangers on home soil back in December.
