Positive news out of Thorp Arch this week, as Daniel Farke sat down for his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's clash against Swansea City.
Chatting to the assembled media, Farke revealed that Leeds United captain Ethan Ampadu has been back out on the grass earlier than expected and will be available for the game at Elland Road..
"Ethan Ampadu has been back in training since last Friday" Farke stated early on in his press conference.
"He's more than one or two weeks earlier than initially expected, which is of course a big boost. I was quite hopeful to be honest, as he normally returns back after injury pretty quickly. He's taken his rehab work seriously and been really focused on it.
"With him it's also little bit special, he's our captain and I've spoken quite a bit about his value to the group, but also as a player, which is really beneficial. It's good to have him back in training and he'll definitely be in the squad for Saturday."
