A number of loyal supporters took on the Great North Run recently to help raise funds for the Leeds United Foundation.

A massive thank you to Will, Ben, Liam, Robert, and Philippa who all participated in the challenge on Sunday 10th September and supported the club’s official charity. As a team they have already raised over £2,800 to support the work being carried out each and every week by the Foundation.

Over the past few months, the group of supporters have been training hard alongside raising funds, with each of them completing the incredibly tough 13.1 miles.

The Great North Run is one of the world’s most iconic half-marathons; with the famous route taking you from the centre of Newcastle, through Gateshead, to the stunning coastline of South Shields.

As always, we are incredibly grateful for our amazing fundraisers who support the work at the Leeds United Foundation, you really do make a huge difference!

The club’s official charity continues to use the power of football to enhance the lives of people across our region through opportunities in sport, education, and healthier lifestyles.

If you would like to sponsor the team and in turn help the Foundation to educate, motivate, inspire and support people across the local Leeds community, you can make a donation on our official JustGiving page here.
