After a break from playing since September 3rd, Leeds United are now back in Premier League action, taking on Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon (16:30 kick-off).

The Whites are back at Elland Road for the first time since August, where a 1-1 draw was played out against Everton, leaving Jesse Marsch’s side with games in hand on their opponents across the league.

Aston Villa arrive in West Yorkshire having taken seven points from seven games, in this early part of the season. An important win last time out saw them overcome Southampton, thanks to Jacob Ramsey’s first half strike.

When the two teams met last season, a thoroughly entertaining 3-3 draw at Villa Park saw both teams take a point, whilst Steven Gerrard’s side earned a comfortable win at Elland Road from Jesse Marsch’s first game in charge of the Whites.

Marsch’s side go into this one having played three times on home turf so far in the 2022/23 campaign, taking seven points. An opening day victory over Wolves was followed up with a comprehensive and impressive three points against Chelsea, before the draw with Everton.

The game has been selected for live television coverage on Sky Sports. Alternatively, you can stay right here on leedsunited.com to follow updates throughout the 90 minutes, or listen to uninterrupted commentary on LUTV!
