Leeds United are pleased to announce Academy goalkeeper Oliver Wood has signed a first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal which will see him continue his development at Thorp Arch.
Last campaign, the stopper enjoyed several impressive performances for Rob Etherington’s Under-18s side, where he featured on 12 occasions.
The youngster also gained important experience when involved in the U21s squad on a matchday, notably on the bench for the Vertu Trophy meeting with Sky Bet League Two side Fleetwood Town.
Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Oliver and we will continue to monitor his progress closely in the coming seasons.
