Officials announced for Bournemouth trip

Announcement made ahead of Saturday’s match.

Generic Referee Premier League

The officials for Saturday’s Premier League meeting with AFC Bournemouth have been announced, with Michael Salisbury set to take charge at the Vitality Stadium.

The encounter will be the second of our matches this season overseen by the referee, after being in the middle of the 4-1 dismantling of Newcastle United at Elland Road.

Salisbury had officiated six Leeds games prior to that one, including this exact fixture last campaign. With Daniel Farke’s side trailing deep into injury time, a powerful Sean Longstaff volley rescued a point on the south coast.

Bournemouth have won five of the 13 matches involving the Lancashire-based referee, losing six, with the most recent encounter being that against the Whites in April.

During the week, Salisbury took charge of a notable EFL Cup Round Four clash that saw Sky Bet League Two outfit Fleetwood Town beat Premier League champions Arsenal on penalties.

Running the touchlines are Adrian Holmes and Conor Brown with Tom Reeves appointed as Fourth Official. Keeping up with the action from Stockley Park is VAR Nick Hopton and Additional VAR Alex Chilowicz.
