Leeds United supporters travelling to the Stadium of Light on Sunday are reminded that Sunderland will be operating an advanced search policy.

Ahead of the Premier League fixture, which kicks-off at 4.30pm, we would like to issue a reminder to fans to avoid any confusion.

In addition to normally prohibited items, coins, vapes, power banks, flares, smoke canisters and umbrellas will not be permitted inside the stadium. Please do not attempt to access with any of these in your possession.

All supporters should allow extra time to enter the ground, as searches will take place before entry.

For full details of the search policy and prohibited items, please read Sunderland’s visiting supporters’ guide before travelling, or find all of our pre-match supporter information HERE.

Thank you for your co-operation and continued support and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
