Leeds United can confirm Academy defender Luke Matykiewicz has joined Emley AFC on a short-term youth loan.

The Northern Ireland youth international heads to the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground to gain further senior experience with the Northern Premier League side.

The centre-half had previously spent time with Ilkeston Town of the same division, as well as featuring for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s in the EFL Trophy against Barnsley and Oldham Athletic.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Luke well during his time with Emley.
