Leeds United can confirm Academy defender Coban Bird has joined Hebburn Town on a short-term youth loan.

The left-back links up with the National League North side after enjoying two previous productive spells with Northern Premier League outfit Emley AFC.

During his time at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground, Bird featured nine times, including five starts, and now heads to Tyneside to gain further senior experience.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Coban well and we will be monitoring his progress.
