Leeds United Women to play at Global Stadium

New venue announced for home fixtures during 2020/21 campaign.

Leeds United Women are pleased to announce that Global Stadium will become their new home ground for the 2020/21 campaign until further notice.

The women’s team will play their first FA Women’s National League Division One home game against Durham Cestria on Sunday 27th September, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm.

Supporters are encouraged to come along and show their support for the first team at the home of Tadcaster Albion AFC, with a maximum of 300 fans able to attend matches and parking spaces available on site.

There will be a track and trace operation in place for each fixture to ensure the safety of visitors at all times. There will also be an admission fee on arrival at the gate, this will be £4 for adults with junior supporters able to watch free of charge (Under-16).

Please note that home fixtures will continue to take place at the new venue until it is safe for them to return to Thorp Arch.

Leeds United Women are currently preparing for the new season with their first game set to take place on Sunday 20th September against Norton and Stockton Ancients. The match will take place at Norton Sports Complex, 2pm kick-off.
