Leeds United dedicate match to childhood cancer awareness campaign

Supporting The Bradley Lowery Foundation for Newcastle clash.

Cancer has no Colours

Leeds United’s Premier League fixture against Newcastle United on Saturday will be dedicated to the Bradley Lowery Foundation’s ‘Cancer Has No Colours’ campaign, inviting football to come together to raise vital awareness and funds for childhood cancer research.

The Bradley Lowery foundation aims to support families who are fundraising for treatment or equipment, which is not readily available or covered by the NHS, as well as supporting research into neuroblastoma and other childhood cancers.

Ahead of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place throughout September, the campaign is aiming to raise further awareness, whilst generating funds and support for the vital research needed to improve the lives of children battling cancer.

Leeds United will also be welcoming the family of youngster Bob who sadly lost his fight against cancer during the 2024/25 season, as we approach one year without him on 5th September.

Bob was just six years old when we sadly lost him, the same age Bradley lost his fight to cancer in 2017. Bob will always remain a special part of the Leeds United family, and we will always remember him and the strong connection he made with players, staff and supporters.
