Laura Bartup showed a clinical touch in front of goal once again, as she netted her second hat-trick of the campaign.
The forward is up to 10 goals for the season and wants to keep that form going, as the Whites hit five without response at home to FC United of Manchester.
“As a striker I want to score goals, I always say it!” Bartup stated.
“It was important to bounce back after defeat at Bradford on Tuesday night.
“I think we went out there and didn’t necessarily have our best game, but we got the goals, got the win and got the three points.
“It’s always nice to play at home, we just need to keep winning here.
“We’re getting quite a few fans now which is good, we can hear all the cheering when we score which is nice.”
Bouncing back from Tuesday’s defeat at Bradford was important for Dan O’Hearne’s side, who did just that, and are now looking ahead to next weekend’s clash.
Bartup said: “We were gutted after Tuesday’s match, I barely slept afterwards and went to work on Wednesday still thinking about the game!
“It was just one of those games, but we bounced back well in this one and we need to make sure we go follow that up next week against Durham.
“We’ll have a good week of training this week and go into next weekend looking to get another three points on the board."
