Kris Klaesson

Leeds United can confirm Kris Klaesson has joined Polish Ekstraklasa side Raków Częstochowa, on a permanent deal.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper heads to the top division of Polish football, bringing his three-year spell at Elland Road to an end.

Having joined from Norwegian outfit Valerenga in 2021, Klaesson made his Premier League debut in a thrilling victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux, which saw the Whites come from two goals behind to win the game.

Klaesson also made two first team appearances for Daniel Farke’s side in the 2023/24 campaign, keeping clean sheets in back-to-back 3-0 victories over both Birmingham City and Peterborough United.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to thank Kris for his efforts whilst at Elland Road and we wish him the best of luck for the rest of his career.
