Leeds United striker Joel Piroe spoke exclusively to LUTV after helping the Whites to a 2-1 victory over Bristol City.
The Dutchman netted his fifth goal for the club, in what proved to be the winner against the Robins, with a fine strike from 20 yards.
The 24-year-old was pleased to find the back of the net once again, which secured Leeds a third victory in four games.
“It’s good to have the three points again,” said Piroe.
“Back-to-back wins is always good as well and now we go into a nice little break.
“I could have scored more to make it a little bit easier for ourselves, but I’m always happy to be on the scoresheet.
“Before we conceded in the last seconds of the first half, if we were up two or three nil, it would have been a different game and I’m not sure if they would have had the confidence or power to score against us.
“I’m really enjoying playing here, the energy from the crowd is amazing, we’re winning duels and winning games which is the most important thing.
“There are things which we can improve in our overall game play, but it will be good to have a little break to work things out and be even better and score more.”
