Leeds United will walk out against Norwich City at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon, aiming to progress into the Quarter-Final of the Emirates FA Cup.

The Canaries will have the same goal when they arrive in West Yorkshire, in a match that has been much played between the two teams over recent years.

Ahead of the match, Joe Rodon was asked about facing the Sky Bet Championship outfit as he spoke exclusively to Premier League Productions.

“I think all the fans, they are going to dream of Wembley, but I think as players we have to just concentrate and take each game as it comes,” the defender began, discussing the fixture.

“There is a game every three days in the Championship so it is always on TV! I will always have a look. For me personally I know how difficult it is to get out of that league, so yeah, it will be a very difficult game, a challenging one and one that we will give everything and concentrate on.”

Having helped his side to progress in the last round with a penalty shoot-out victory over Birmingham City, the Welsh international reflected on our trip to St Andrew’s and said he would be ready, should penalties be required again.

Rodon said: “To be fair, after the first five I didn't know who was going next! We were really confident in our penalty takers and of course Lucas [Perri] in goal as well, you know he’s a very big presence.

“I think we just planned for it not to go beyond five and luckily that did happen. It was a brilliant penalty shootout from the boys.

“We know our responsibility as players and that opportunity could arise, so you have to be confident and yeah, if I have to step up and take one then of course I will.”
