Leeds United is delighted to announce an expansion of our partnership with JD, the global sports and fashion retailer, as the club’s official retail partner.

The new extended agreement will see JD branding feature prominently on the Norman Hunter South Stand of Elland Road, in addition to the perimeter LED system and club’s media backdrop. In addition, JD will continue to stock Leeds United replica kits, training wear and retro products in JD’s expanding store estate and on JD’s website.

Initially trading from a single store in Bury, Greater Manchester, JD now has over 900 stores across 21 countries worldwide, providing an elevated consumer experience across both physical and digital landscapes with further ambitious growth plans globally which the partnership will look to support.

As part of the gold tier partnership, Leeds United and JD will drive brand activity by the creation of innovative partnership activations and digital campaigns which will be promoted through the club and JD’s channels.

JD global managing director, Michael Armstrong, commented: “We are proud of our partnership with the club and are looking forward to continuing to build on the opportunity to expand the club’s retail network as well as connecting with the fans locally and through our growing global estate.”

Paul Bell, executive director at Leeds United, added: “We are delighted to be expanding our relationship with JD.  They are a brilliant partner who play a pivotal part in our retail strategy given their significant presence within our key target markets.

We pride ourselves on developing long term partnerships and we look forward to building upon the successes already achieved with JD and seeing the various partnership initiatives come to life.”
