Leeds United forward Jay-Roy Grot, currently on loan with Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem, has suffered a meniscus tear.

The injury was picked up in Vitesse’s win over FC Twente at the weekend, in which Grot scored the only goal of the match.

The forward will have surgery on Wednesday and faces a potential three months out.
