Leeds United Women have added more FA WNL Division One North experience to their ranks this summer as Izzy Dean links up with the Whites.
The central defender joins Simon Wood’s squad from Cheadle Town, where she played a key role in the side’s second place finish last term.
After signing, the 25-year-old spoke to leedsunited.com.
“I’m really excited to be here,” the new recruit began. “It’s nice to be back playing with a few of the girls again.
“It was always a tough game playing against Leeds so now I’m looking forward to being on this side of the team.”
On her and the squad’s ambitions, Izzy added: “Hopefully promotion. Being close the past couple of seasons, hopefully we can get over the line.
“I heard so many good things from speaking with people I previously played with about the team, and the facilities are next level too.”
