Information for supporters travelling to the City Ground

Extra information for Premier League opener.

City Ground Nottingham Forest

Leeds United travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon and we would like to thank every fan that will be making the journey to support the team.

Please see below some pieces of information to take into consideration ahead of travelling.

Plan your journey early:

  • Whether you’re travelling by train/car/bus make sure you leave with plenty of time to spare before the game. Supporters are advised to arrive no later than 60 minutes before kick-off, which is scheduled for 3pm.

  • The City Ground can be accessed easily via various types of public transport. The ground is an approximate 20-minute walk from the city centre which is well served by bus, train or tram services.

  • Parking is extremely limited around and at the stadium, provided on a first come, first served basis. Where possible, please share transport to the game to reduce the amount of required parking.

  • There is parking available at: Meadow Lane (Notts County FC), Cattlemarket Pay & Display, Lady Bay Sports Ground (NG2 5AA), and County Hall (Notts County Council Building).

  • The Nest at Meadow Lane (Notts County's stadium) is open to away supporters pre-match. To learn more or secure your ticket click here.

Opening times:

  • Away ticket collection point - 1.30pm

  • Turnstiles - 1.30pm

Know the stadium layout and policies:

  • The visitors' ticket collection point is located just outside of the away end turnstiles and opens 90 minutes prior to kick off. Supporters will be asked to present photo ID upon collection of tickets.

  • The collection point will remain open until 45 minutes after kick off. Please contact the Leeds United ticket office to arrange collection prior to matchday.

  • Away supporters can access the ground via turnstiles 41-53 of the John Robertson Stand (formerly Bridgeford End) on the Eastern side of the stadium.

Stay safe:

  • Keep yourself and others as safe as possible at all times, especially during any match incidents and both pre-match and at half-time in the concourses.

  • Remember that throwing objects and the use of flares, pyrotechnics and smoke bombs are strictly forbidden. Remain in the seat you have purchased, and refrain from standing on your seats and blocking aisles in the away section.

  • All supporters will be searched thoroughly before entering the stadium.
