Leeds United are delighted to announce Brenden Aaronson has put pen-to-paper on a new three-year contract with the club.
The versatile attacker will now remain at Elland Road until 2029 after committing his future to the Whites.
An impressive year last season saw Aaronson contribute significantly as the team finished 14th in the Premier League standings. He played 37 times for Daniel Farke’s side throughout the campaign, scoring four goals and registering five assists.
Since moving to West Yorkshire in 2022, Brenden has made 129 appearances for the Whites and was also an integral part of the Sky Bet Championship winning squad in the 2024/25 season, before then taking that form, energy and quality into the top-flight.
The 25-year-old capped off a stellar term by being named in his country’s squad for the summer’s FIFA World Cup, helping the United States to the Round of 16.
His return to club football from international duty over the summer has seen Aaronson have an impressive pre-season, scoring against Liverpool and Manchester United, whilst also registering assists for his teammates to score as well.
Away from the pitch, Brenden has played an important role in connecting with the community by getting involved in numerous initiatives and events delivered by the Leeds United Foundation.
Everyone at Leeds United is thrilled Brenden has extended his stay with the club ahead of our opening league fixture this weekend against Nottingham Forest.
We now look forward to seeing him continue to impress at Elland Road and away from home over the years to come.
