Leeds United were delighted to welcome a full crowd back to Elland Road on Saturday afternoon for our first home Premier League match of the 2021/22 season.

To help welcome our incredible supporters back home and to show them how much they were missed over the last 18 months, the club supplied each and every seat in the ground with an exclusive Leeds United flag (or an Everton flag for those in the away stand).

The yellow and blue flags, inspired by our adidas home kit for the current campaign, helped to create an amazing atmosphere inside the stadium, with the crowd playing a vital role in encouraging the team and helping them to come from behind twice to draw with Everton.

For those who were unable to attend the match, there are a number of flags now available to purchase with all funds raised from the sales to be donated to the Leeds United Foundation.

The flags will be made available to purchase for just £3, and supporters will be able to buy them from the official Leeds United store at Elland Road or online here.

Monies raised through the sales of the flags will enable the Leeds United Foundation to continue delivering the crucial work they carry out to those most vulnerable in our local community, with staff at the charity currently reaching over 20,000 people every year.

The Foundation run over 20 programmes throughout the city, including educational initiatives with youngsters, programmes for those with disabilities, mental health and wellbeing projects for adults and young people, various football and participation programmes to help with development and support sessions for those in the most underprivileged areas of Leeds.
