Leeds United are pleased to announce Academy goalkeeper Darryl Ombang has signed a new contract with the club.

The shot stopper has agreed a one-year deal with the Whites, which will see him continue his development within the Under-21s’ ranks.

The 21-year-old made 10 appearances for Scott Gardner’s side in the previous campaign, notably gaining valuable experience in EFL Trophy ties with Port Vale and Fleetwood Town.

Ombang also enjoyed two productive loan spells, featuring four times for Darlington in the National League North before helping guide FC United of Manchester to the Northern Premier League Play-Offs.
