Leeds United travel to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, looking to finish November on a high before a busy festive period gets underway.
Ahead of the game, boss Daniel Farke has commented on the task at hand over the weekend, and looked at how his side can return to winning ways.
"I'm fully concentrated on helping my team make sure that we win the momentum back," Farke stated.
"After a good spell, we've had one or two poorer performances, but after a spell of prior results, we didn't deserve to lose the game against Villa.
"I think our performance was in many, many aspects, really, really good. But if you then don't win it, it's so difficult to win the momentum back.
"But overall, we are all competitiors," the German added. "I still know why I started to play football, because I wanted to be competitive. I wanted to be the better side, and this is what I still have in myself.
"Of course it's a special occasion, but it's not like you enjoy this moment, it's more like you have to be so, so switched on and so fully focussed and concentrated."
The manager also commented on the current Premier League top goalscorer, Erling Haaland, who has scored 14 goals in 12 games for Pep Guardiola's side so far this season: "We spoke in the meeting room, and on the training pitch we worked on it, how to stop him.
"But it's not just him, we have to make sure he doesn't get the passes, the crosses, the through passes or finishing passes that he then can finish. He is, at the moment, probably the best striker in the world and the most effective striker.
"We have to make sure the set up for him, the assists, the finishing passes, the through passes and the crosses, that we try to handle these and make sure he doesn't get many situations, and then we have a chance to concentrate on him."
