After showing superb form throughout the month of February, Dan James has received the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award!

Having consistently caused problems for defences across the league, the 27-year-old ended the month having scored three times, along with creating plenty of chances for his teammates.

Dan’s first goal in February came during the 7-0 victory over Cardiff City, before he then netted a brace in the convincing 4-0 success against Watford.

Along with finding the net, James won a penalty in the previously mentioned win over the Bluebirds, which teammate Joel Piroe slotted home.

Our Welsh international also added four assists to his growing tally, making it eight direct goal contributions in the five matches played throughout February.

Following his impressive month for the Whites, the winger has deservedly been awarded with the trophy.
