Leeds United Women return to action at Garforth this Sunday, facing a Blackburn Rovers side yet to pick up a point this campaign.

Last time out the Whites were victim to another last-minute equaliser, sharing the points away at Wythenshawe despite a first-half brace from Chloe Dixon.

Ahead of this wekeend’s game, the Leeds and ex-Blackburn winger said: “We want to kick on and start to turn one point into three.

“I feel like we haven’t reached our best yet but hopefully that starts on Sunday. I think we have enough quality to beat anyone in the league and when it clicks, results will just start getting better and better.

“I’ve got nothing against Blackburn at all but I’m Leeds now and I want what’s best for the team.

“When I’ve been playing, I’ve 100 per cent enjoyed every single minute,” Dixon then said on her start to the season. “But obviously, like last weekend for example, it didn’t feel like we drew, it felt like a loss.

“For me, I’m not happy with one point. I’m in the mentality of if you don’t win you lose, which may seen arrogant but if you haven’t got your three points, I see it as a loss.”

On her brace at Wythenshawe, she added: “I was putting pressure on myself, in my own head, so now I’ve got the goals, I feel more relaxed and hopefully they’ll start flowing a bit more.”
