The match officials for Leeds United’s Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon have been announced, with Michael Oliver set to take charge at Elland Road.
One of the country’s most experienced officials, the 41-year-old has already overseen 40 fixtures this campaign, including 27 in the Premier League and 10 in the UEFA Champions League.
The reverse encounter between the two teams was one of three Leeds matches Oliver has been involved in this term. That takes the Whites to 19 games to feature the Northumberland-based official, in which they have won five times and drawn on five occasions.
Brighton, meanwhile, have recorded seven victories, eight draws and nine losses in their 24 matches refereed by Oliver. Most recently, the Seagulls were edged out 2-1 away from home at Fulham in January.
Supporting him on the night will be Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring, with Samuel Allison on the touchline as the fourth official. Keeping up with the action from Stockley Park is Video Assistant Referee Stuart Attwell and Additional VAR Constantine Hatzidakis.
