Leeds United defender Jaka Bijol completed the full 90 minutes as Slovenia were held to a 1-1 draw by Cyprus in an international friendly at the Stozice Stadium on Thursday.
The visitors made a bright start and took the lead after just seven minutes when Marinos Tzionis found the net to put Cyprus ahead.
Bijol and the Slovenian backline responded well, limiting further opportunities as the hosts looked for a route back into the contest.
Their persistence was rewarded midway through the second half when defender Vanja Drkušić equalised in the 65th minute, ensuring the friendly encounter ended all square in Ljubljana.
The result forms part of Slovenia's preparations for September's UEFA Nations League campaign, where they will compete in Group E alongside Scotland, Switzerland and North Macedonia.
Bijol and his international teammates will continue their build-up on Sunday evening when they face Croatia, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm BST.
