Abi Coley has become the second addition to Leeds United Women this summer transfer window, joining from Doncaster Rovers Belles.

The 19-year-old midfielder has linked up with Simon Wood’s squad after tallying 26 appearances and six goals last campaign.

Speaking after signing, Abi said: “It feels really good. A really good new chapter and I’m really looking forward to it.

“The ambition and obviously everything about the club is brilliant anyway, and it’s nice to be in an environment with such high expectations.

“I know the team is hard working, resilient, and just a really good squad.”

“I started playing grassroots as far back as I can remember. Boston United was my first academy team; I got in at Doncaster Belles and progressed to first team and here I am.

“I would say I have a good mentality and mentally supportive for my teammates.”
