Leeds United played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth at Elland Road, but were just minutes away from claiming a victory from the game.
Having gone behind in the match, the Whites hit back with goals from Joe Rodon and Sean Longstaff, but would be denied all three points in second half stoppage time.
Speaking after the game and having netted his first goal of the season with an excellent header from a Longstaff corner, Rodon shared his thoughts.
He said: “We were quite dangerous on set pieces today, it's something we've been working on.
“We're trying to improve our overall game, but that was a great ball from Sean and luckily I was there to put it in.
“When you work that hard, it's really difficult to concede in the last moments of a game, especially then from a set piece, it's really frustrating. But we were losing and we got ourselves in a winning position, so credit to the boys, we dug in.
“And of course, the fans were brilliant again to push us on. Just unfortunate that we couldn't see it out.
“We wanted to come into this league and continue what we've been doing. Pressing teams and not dropping off. We want to get at these teams and go after these teams.
“I think credit to Bournemouth, they're a very good team and you can see where they are in the league position, they're a top team.
“But I thought we worked really hard today and we were very good, just unfortunate not to win.”
