Leeds United will face three teams from the Midlands in the upcoming Premier League season, two of which we battled with last time around as well as Sky Bet Championship winners Coventry City, who return to the top-flight after a 25-year absence.
Starting with the Sky Blues, Frank Lampard’s side collected 95 points from their 46 second division games and finished comfortably clear of second-place Ipswich Town.
The Whites’ previous visit to the Coventry Building Society Arena brought a 2-0 victory for Daniel Farke's men enroute to the title, thanks to goals from Joël Piroe and Jayden Bogle in what was a dominating performance.
Both scorers were again on target in the reverse fixture, alongside an early Willy Gnonto effort that saw Leeds run out 3-0 victors!
Coventry will visit Elland Road towards the end of November with our trip to the Midlands scheduled for the New Year.

Last season’s visit to Villa Park proved a memorable one for midfielder Anton Stach, who netted a sensational 40-yard free-kick against Aston Villa. The strike would go on to be crowned Goal of the Season and helped the Whites to a valuable point in Birmingham.
On home soil, despite taking the lead early on, the visitors turned things around after the break to snatch all three points at Elland Road and would go on to finish fourth in the Premier League, alongside lifting the UEFA Europa League trophy.
An enjoyable trip to Villa Park in recent memory came behind-closed-doors in the 2020/21 season where a sensational Patrick Bamford hattrick fired United to an emphatic 3-0 victory!
The Whites are currently scheduled to face Unai Emery’s side on Boxing Day 2026 and will host the Villans just two months later, towards the end of February.

The final team of the Midlands trio will take fans to the banks of the River Trent to face Vítor Pereira’s Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the season, confirmed for Saturday 22nd August as a 3pm kick-off.
Last campaign, despite reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League, Forest struggled to reach the heights of the previous term domestically and finished in 16th, three points below Leeds but five ahead of relegated West Ham United.
Both teams came out 3-1 winners on home soil in the encounters between the two last year. Lukas Nmecha had drilled a fine low strike into the bottom corner in Nottinghamshire before the home side completed the turnaround that day.
In West Yorkshire, Leeds raced into an early lead through Bogle and Noah Okafor, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin making sure of the result with an inventive effort after the break! We welcome the East Midlanders to Elland Road in April.
