Leeds United are proud to announce the winner of the 2025/26 Bobby Collins Award is long-standing team member Isobel Deane.
The accolade is given to an employee who has shown outstanding contribution to the club, with over two decades as part of the Leeds United family making Isobel a worthy winner.
Izzy, as she is known to those at Thorp Arch, has worked tirelessly behind the scenes at the training ground, helping in the kitchen to ensure the first-team, academy and staff members are fueled and doing so with a glowing smile and warm approach.
When players from yesteryear have returned to Thorp Arch, they have been quick to catch up with Izzy and reminisce, testament to her dedication during her time with us.
Presenting this year’s Bobby Collins Award was first-team stars Brenden Aaronson and Willy Gnonto, with the international in particular incredibly close to such a crucial member of the backroom team.
Welcoming Izzy onto the stage, Willy said: “First of all, congratulations. This is all yours. And now I want to say thank you for everything you do for us. I feel like every day we try to make you as special as possible and I hope you know that we really appreciate you. But I feel like it is the right night for everyone to recognise you and to just say thank you very much for everything.”
Brenden added: “I think it means everything to us. Walking in a lot of mornings with games that don’t go our way, or they do, to see her bright smile every morning and to give us her positivity, it is the best thing. So, I just want to say thank you for everything you do for us.”
Everyone at Leeds United was delighted to see Izzy collect the 2025/26 Bobby Collins Award. For her outstanding efforts and commitment, we are honoured to have her as part of the club.
